Zaure Tazhibayeva Kazakhstan I am having a wonderful experience here. I am improving my English, meeting people from all over the world, and enjoying the sites of Boston. The teachers are excellent and helpful! We have a lot of homework, but this helps us to learn more and more quickly!

Students will be participate in taking the institutional TOEFL test monthly. ELI Increased Enrollment Over 30%In the summer and fall of 2008, ELI increased enrollment by over 30% from 2007 and welcomed more than 500 students from all over the world: Argentina, Brazil. Colombia, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Japan, Kazakhstan, Korea, Mexico, the Netherlands, Senegal, Spain, Switzerland, Taiwan, Venezuela, Vietnam. Activities! Activities!ELI continues to provide a variety of interesting and fun educational, cultural and social on-campus and off-campus activities and excursions. Students have enjoyed tours of Boston which highlight all of the majors sites in Boston including: Faneuil Hall, Quincy Market, the Freedom Trail, Harvard University and MIT. The popular destinations of Cape Cod, New York City, Salem, Six Flags and famous Wrentham shopping outlet continue to be favorite destinations and the Blue Man Group. Students enjoyed celebrating all of the international cultures on campus during International week from November 17th to the 21st by learning about each others traditions and tasting a diversity of foods. ELI/PMC updatesPine Manor College is on the moveThe college dining room was renovated with all new furniture to provide an updated, stylish and comfortable atmosphere. Pine Manor College has developed a partnership with the New England Institute of Art. With over 125 new students living on campus, this collaboration provides the College with many new educational, cultural and social opportunities for all students. All of the Residence Halls are being renovated with new floors, carpets and modern furniture! |
